

Volunteer call-out: SENSE SEX-ED PROJECT ANIMATORS!
Want to be a Sense Project Animator?
Are you interested in leading sex ed workshops with youth? Do you want to contribute to the Sense Project at Head & Hands? We are currently seeking new volunteer animators for the 2010-11 school year!

If you meet these criteria, please complete the attached volunteer form and send it to Nikki at healthed@headandhands.ca. We’ll then book a short screening interview with selected volunteers! The deadline to apply is Friday, August 13th.

The Head & Hands Office Coordination team is looking for volunteers interested in working at the main office reception desk for a few hours during the week on Wednesday afternoons and Monday evenings. This position is an excellent opportunity to work directly with our clientele and to become familiar with our extensive resource database! Interested candidates must be bilingual and youth friendly.
Head & Hands is looking for graphic designers who are interested in helping our programs update their pamphlets as well as design logos for special fundraising campaigns and the like. This position is great opportunity for someone interested in donating their design skillz toward a righteous, youth-friendly cause! Candidates must submit a CV as well some samples of their work (on-line is OK).
Head & Hands is looking for someone to ride shotgun in our food delivery truck and help distribute food items to our three locations, once a month. This position is good for someone who likes using a bit of muscle, putting their back into it and road tripping!
Head & Hands is looking for a volunteer to translate our annual report from English to French. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in translating and to learn more about our services and organization as a whole. Candidates must submit a CV as well some samples of their work (on-line is OK).
The Head & Hands administration and medical services are looking for support with filing. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for to gain experience in an (fun!) office setting. Interested candidates must be detail-oriented and reliable.
The Head & Hands J2K and Young Parents' Program teams are looking for someone to help manage their monthly activity calendars. These calendars are distributed to youth and posted on-line. This position is ideal for people interested in learning more about programming activities for youth and working closely with our program coordinators. Interested candidates must be detail-oriented and have basic layout/graphic design skills.
